A lecture on the trauma primary survey, working through the ABCDE approach: airway threats and management including difficult and surgical airways, pulmonary life threats such as tension pneumothorax, circulatory assessment and haemorrhagic shock, GCS and neurological life threats, and exposure before the secondary survey. Aimed at medical students and general emergency practice rather than paediatric-specific trauma care.
